Ephraim experienced two foster homes and one group home. 

 

In the 2017 DECA District Competition in Mississippi; DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in professional development for future careers. Ephraim led a team competing in multiple categories, informing them of their roles at the competition, she also placed fifth in the Food Marketing portion. Also tutored etiquette to prepare for meetings with judges for the 2018 DECA Competition. Ephraim earned the DECA Student of The Month for leadership skills and her ability to compete in her division twice in 2017 and 2018. She also led the Youth Olympic Games in 2017 for the Youth Conference and won leadership first runner-up medal at the conference in Ocean Springs. Ephraim has volunteered to tutor middle school children after school and help with their homework to raise money for the Key Club in the 2018 DCON Competition, which she still does everywhere for an hour. For the last three years, she has volunteered to sing at a local nursing home for Christmas.

 

Ephraim has plans to get her master’s degree in business and entrepreneurship as her major, along with culinary arts as her minor. She hopes to start at Mississippi Gulf Community College and transfer to The W to complete her degree. She aspires to open a restaurant after college, being both the owner and head chef.
