Cody Breeden spent several years in the foster care system, experiencing a wide variety of placements, and is now participating in extended foster care. He recently graduated from high school and is currently focusing on work and volunteer opportunities. Cody would like to join the military and provide himself the space to grow and mature prior to continuing his education. In his free time Cody likes to go to the gym, read, listen to music and play video games. Volunteering at a summer camp for foster youth as a peer counselor and working with FosterClub have ignited Cody’s interest to advocate within the foster care system. An area of advocacy that interests Cody is sibling separation. Having been separated from his brother while in foster care, Cody wishes to help ensure that other siblings don’t have to go through losing each other.
