Shannon believes every small act matters as we work together to achieve the lofty goal of ending domestic and sexual violence. Touch a heart and change a life.

Shannon is the FosterClub Program Outreach Manager. Her responsibilities include supervising the Fostering Healthy Outcomes and NYTD Survey projects as well as providing outreach and resources and all other duties as assigned.

Previously Shannon worked as an Advocate responding with the Domestic Sexual Assault Response Team for 15 years. She continues to respond to domestic and sexual assault survivors on the scene with law enforcement, or at the hospital.

Shannon runs and writes in her spare time and is due to publish her first novel this year. Shannon has 6 children, and had the privilege of caring for her family in her home.

Awards include the Oregon Trial Lawyers Public Justice Award for work done with the Harbor to change housing for survivors nationally. The Department of Justice Star Advocate Commendation during the National Crime Victim's Rights week, and the Child Abuse Prevention Advocate of the year in, Davis County, Utah 1993.
