About this resource

ILS provides basic life skills and support to youth who are, or have been in foster or group care. The program is designed to enhance the youth’s ability to live independently.

WEEKLY EVENTS SCHEDULE
Thurston County Drop-In Group (youth in/out of foster care):
Tuesdays @ Rosie’s Place from 1:30-3:00 pm
Shelton Drop-In Group (youth in/out of foster care):
Aug. 8th from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm @ 601 W. Franklin St. Shelton, WA
Centralia Drop-In Group (youth in/out of foster care)

Mockingbird Chapter Meeting
Thursday, Aug 16th, 3:30pm @ CYS main building

Eligibility

Services are available to youth 15-21 years of age who are in foster care or have been in foster care for at least thirty days after their 15th birthday. Applicants may be referred by a DCFS social worker, other social or mental health care professionals, or by self-referral. ILS provides monthly workshops and one-on-one case management.
