Since March 2014, Angel Petite has been working as the Young Leaders Program Manager. Her primary responsibilities are the management and implementation of the All-Star Internship Program, Outstanding Young Leaders Program and California Youth Ambassador Internship. Moreover, Angel connects young leaders to advocacy opportunities and works with the Young Leaders team to provide necessary logistical and event support. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) within her local community. In the office, Angel is known for her memorization of conference call numbers and her addiction to raw veggies.

FC: What do you do when you are not working?
AP: Hiking, running on the beach, kayaking and spending time with friends and family.

FC: What is your prior work experience?
AP: Economic Support Specialist with County Department of Health and Human Services, Administrative Assistant, and Client Advocate for a pregnancy and parenting resource center.

FC: Tell us two truths, one lie about you. (Don't tell us which one is the lie!)
AP: 1) My favorite color is pink. 2) I have one niece. 3) I am originally from the Midwest.

FC: What is your favorite thing about coming to work each day?
AP: Watching young people grow (both personally and professionally) into confident young leaders who strategically advocate for change within the system.
