Justin Black spent 8 years in the Michigan foster care system.
Justin was placed in 5 different placements while in the foster care system. Justin visited 12 countries as a freshman in college. Justin also loves volunteering at the Woods Lake Elementary School teaching the youth the ways of Martin Luther King Jr.
As an African American and African studies major, Justin plans to get involved with community and engage in local development projects.
In the future, Justin plans to give underprivileged youth an opportunity to venture into career choices that they may not have been exposed to. As a public relation major, Justin plans to play multiple roles in an organization and ultimately become a man of the voiceless.
