Whether you are just curious about adoption or have always hoped to be adopted but don't know who to talk to, this is a great place to start. Sometimes kids in foster care do not want to be adopted and that is ok. But often not wanting to get adopted is rooted in underlying fears. It is hard to trust and open your heart to a complete stranger, especially after the people who were supposed to love and care for you unconditionally, fail to. If you feel this way, it is important that you talk about your fears. There may be a family out there for you, if you just take the risk and try.
