Hi! I’m Kimberly F. I live in Alabama and love to read, travel, spend time with my pets, pursue creative hobbies, and shop. It may surprise you, but I like to crochet! As a first-generation Nigerian American woman, I have a passion for the protection and advancement of reproductive rights, human rights, and immigrant rights.

I became interested in this field because of my own lived experience in the system as a minor. Aging out of the system inspired me to pursue advocacy work, and I could not be more proud of where this path has led. I feel pride and satisfaction in my work when I can connect with youth and adults who are elevating important issues faced by youth in care. Through my work at FosterClub, I hope to become an agent for change in the lives of young people and adults impacted by the foster care system.

Kimberly graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Psychology. Prior to working at FosterClub, her most notable role was being a social services administrator and trainer with Child Protective Services. She is also proud to be a first-generation college graduate.
