The Inspector General can help investigate your complaints and works independently within the Department of Children and Family Services. The Inspector has the authority to conduct investigations into by any employee, foster parent, service provider, or contractor of the Department of Children and Family Services. The Inspector General is appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate for a term of four years.
