Seaside, Oregon - In celebration of the conclusion of National Foster Care Month, FosterClub is proud to announce their Outstanding Young Leaders for 2017.

Each year FosterClub works with thousands of bright minds who are huge inspirations to other youth and their communities. This year, 100 current or former foster youth from across the country who have faced and overcome seemingly insurmountable odds and will be featured as FosterClub Outstanding Young Leaders. These young visionaries have gone through an intense selection process based on:

  1. Volunteerism in their communities
  2. Involvement on youth advisory boards
  3. Demonstrated leadership

The selection process takes into account the hurdles and obstacles young leaders have overcome to raise themselves to the high standards they are at now.

FosterClub honors each one of these current and former foster youth for their extraordinary achievements and inspirational success stories. Each Outstanding Young Leader received a certificate and will be provided opportunities to advocate for foster youth at various events nationwide.
