The Governor’s Advocacy Office Foster Care Ombudsman is sponsoring an Art Contest for all kids currently in Foster Care or in ILP Group in the State of Oregon.

Why: Because we know that kids are way better artists than adults and we would like to use the winner’s artwork as our logo on brochures and cards that will be given to all kids entering foster care in Oregon! Plus the winner of each division will receive a gift card $50!
What: We are looking for artwork that demonstrates Kids, Inclusion, Welcoming, Communication, Caring, Empowerment, or any other category you think would be Awesome! Keep in mind the picture will have to be shrunk to about the size of a postage stamp so it can fit on a business card. Color is great too!
Who: Again, any youth currently in foster care or in ILP Group in the State of Oregon. We have two divisions: Over 12 and under 12 years of age.
When: All artwork must be received no later than October 1st. A team of Judges will select the winners from both categories by October 9, 2014 and the winners will be notified immediately.

Please submit your artwork with your full name and date of birth printed clearly on the top. Send your artwork to:
