(picture by Star-Advertiser) FosterClub Outstanding Young Leader, Noy Worachit and others testified in front of Hawaii lawmakers in order to help pass a bill supporting foster youth until age 21.

Turning 18 and leaving the foster care system with little to no support is an unfortunate reality for many youth. In order to help youth transition successfully into adulthood, many states are offering extended care beyond the age of 18. Hawaii is now one of the many states assisting foster youth with extended care services.
