What is happening? Where will I live? Who will I live with? What will happen to my mom or parents? When will I move again? Are they here to take me away again?

This summer, we had 24 youth from foster care here at the FosterClub headquarters. Among them, they experienced a combined 182 years in foster care. The majority of them experienced 5 or more placements, more than 2 different high schools, 4 different elementary schools, emancipation, healthcare issues, even homelessness. Instability is a constant in a foster youth's life. 

We came across a great article from a foster mom and author of Foster Parent Diary called,  "Uncertainty Fills a Foster Cild With Worry." Meghan Moravcik Walbert writes about her 3-year-old foster son nicknamed BlueJay, and how "The only constant in his life so far has been instability and that instability has conditioned him to always be looking over his shoulder."
