Christia is responsible for back-end development of and support for organization's websites and web-based technologies, including implementing new features, monitoring security and administering technical support. She is also part of the fundraising team and responsible for donor management. Employed with the organization since 2012 in other roles, Christia likes to keep it real by blasting music in her headphones.

FC: What do you do when you are not working?
CH: I enjoy photography, baking, karaoke, camping, walking in the woods with my dog, genealogical research, using oxford commas, and reading.
FC: Any family and/or pets you want to claim?
CH: I am the mom of two daughters and Loki, the Dog of Mischief.
FC: What did you do before FosterClub?
CH: Web development and entrepreneurship background; owned and operated a used bookstore and co-founded a main street coffee shop and bistro, direct sales and free-lance web design; bookkeeping, e-commerce and domain management for a tech company in the early 2000's. Oh! And served as a Medic in the Army National Guard from 2008 - 2014.
FC: Tell us two truths, one lie about you. (Don't tell us which one is the lie!)
CH: 1) I flew an airplane before I ever drove a vehicle. 2) My famous Quiche recipe was featured in a magazine. 3) I'm fluent in German.
FC: What is your favorite thing about coming to work each day?
CH: Aside from the joy of working on the beautiful Oregon coast and doing a job that I love, I enjoy being part of an organization that is lead by powerful, young advocates for child welfare.
