Stormy entered the Kansas Child Welfare system at age 15.

Stormy was president of a Kansas group for foster kids for 2 years and has been on the Dean’s honor roll at college. He also helped co-write a grant to support Foster Alumni at his college and advocated for statewide child welfare legislation. He is an ambassador on the Kansas Youth Advisory Council, which he previously chaired.

Stormy has opportunities to study abroad and is applying for the Peace Corps after graduation and hopes to continue working with young people around the world.
