Senior Policy Analyst, Center for the Study of Social Policy; Alumna of foster care

 

Nico'Lee Biddle currently works as a Senior Program Analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) on monitoring state child welfare reform. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania, where she worked as a clinical psychotherapist with children and families impacted by complex trauma for years before switching to macro-level social work. Nico'Lee has also worked in management at a non-profit kinship foster care organization.

Nico'Lee is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, (BA, psychology) and the University of Pittsburgh (MSW). Nico'Lee has also authored various opinion pieces on re-envisioning foster care that have been published in Teen Vogue, The Imprint, the Children’s Bureau Express, and Fostering Families Today. Over the years she has been a member of the National Foster Youth and Alumni Policy Council (2016 - 2018), a participant in Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day (2017) and a member of Foster Care Alumni of America - Pennsylvania Chapter (2015 - present).
