Policy Analyst, Center for the Study of Social Policy; Alumna of foster care
Nico'Lee Biddle currently works as a Policy Analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, specifically working on affecting changed in the child welfare system through the work of class action litigation and monitoring. Previously, Nico’Lee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, worked as a clinical psychotherapist with children and families impacted by the child welfare system. In her role as CFS Assistant Director at A Second Chance, Inc, she led a team of both caseworkers and therapists to provide critical support to children in kinship foster families to enable them to thrive. Prior to that, she was an outpatient therapist at TRAC Services for Families.
A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, (BA, psychology) and the University of Pittsburgh (MSW). From 2016-2018 she was a council member of the National Foster Youth and Alumni Policy Council. Nico'Lee has also authored various pieces on how to change the foster care system that have been published in Teen Vogue, The Imprint, the Children’s Bureau Express, and Fostering Families Today.
