Oregon Youth Development Opportunity!

Are you a young person (age 14-23) who experienced foster care in Oregon?

You're invited to Finding Balance: Summit on Youth Well-Being where young people will come together to connect, learn and grow. (Learn more here.)


Here's what you can expect:

$150 Compensation

You'll receive a $150 direct to you for your participation in the Summit. (You must register and be selected to attend.)

Leadership Training

If you're selected to attend, you'll receive leadership training (virtual) alongside young people who share similar experiences. Training will be held May 4, 2023.

+ Extra $50 for attending the virtual prep session.

Travel Assistance

If needed, staff will help you plan and pay for travel expenses, including gas money, bus ticket, and even a hotel room if travelling more than 4 hours.

Food


Lunch and snacks will be provided at the summit!

Important Details

  • Youth must be able to attend the full day on May 5, 2023 in Gladstone, Oregon
  • Space is limited, 80 spots reserved for young people 
  • Young people under the age of 18 must attend with a chaperone, who is required to also register for the Summit using the link below
