2009 Outstanding Young Leader
Adrian has been in two emergency shelters and three foster homes in the five years he has been in the foster care system. When he turned 18 he decided the benefits of staying in care were too great to not sign himself back into foster care.
Adrian is involved with his local youth advisory board, and has done other volunteering. During the local campaign for Barack Obama he went to neighborhoods and handed out voter registrations, and has provided meals and clothing through a church organization.
Adrian is a Discovery Channel fan, and he also enjoys writing, dancing, and challenging himself by learning new songs on the piano.
