FOSTER CARE SUCKS AND I SUGGEST THAT U DONT GO IN CUS THEY TAKE AWAY MORE THAN HALF OF UR RIGHTs AWAY.

sounds to me like you might have leaked through the system.I am not sure what type of paper she mailed to you but I know that there is an amancipituation paper only if you have a job and can take care of yourself. you can go to the town office of the town that you were born in to get your birth certificate and social security office and tell them that you have lost your card they will send you a new one .sounds like you are trying very hard to get yourself on the right road . I know that sometimes if you can get involved with a church there are some very nice people that may help you . maybe someone that you can trust and confide in also maybe someone that has or is familia with case work that may have answers that can really help you good luck and keep strong.

Hello my name is Camille I am 21 years old as of Feb 2nd. I was in foster care until I was 17 years old and was placed in care at 13. My case worker at the time placed me with a relative who became abusive and I let her know I wanted to leave. She told me that she could not come and get me and told me to sign a form she faxed to me so I could be able to travel by myself. I did and when I reached South Carolina I found out that I was out of care I pleaded that I did not sign myself out of care and they said the only way I could get back in was to go to school, which I could not enroll in because the relative I was staying with stole my birth certificate and social security card. I had no money and no help I finally got some the after care funds out o them after calling the state office and after that they closed my case writing me a letter saying I could receive fund for college up to the age of 23. It was very hard after that and I became homeless I am still homeless and living in a woman's shelter. I recently was accepted to college after finally completing my GED and I only need 7000 dollars more 5000 of that can be paid with the funds promised to me by the department of social services, but they said I am not ineligible; the same story they told me about those after care funds. Please I really need so info on what to do I am trying hard to do better and it seems that every time I do I get knocked backed down. Besides I didn't ask for this they took me from my family. I am not looking for a hand out only a hand. Thank you in advance for any and all of your help and incite.
