Good questions. I could give you my best guess on your first questio, but I'd hate to give the best wrong information. I suggest you ask your caseworker on that. I would expect that you'd be able to see you friends,& boyfriend/girlfriend but there may be some rules around those relationships (when your allowed to visit, how often, etc.) That would be a good thing to ask the folks at the foster home
I might be going into foster care, im 17 and i have 2 questions, first off i live in south florida but if i was put into a foster home could it be in north florida or would it have to be in the town that i live in? & my 2nd question is, when youre in foster care are you allowed to see friends,&boyfriend/girlfriend if you have one?
I have been in fostercare for two years and I don't want to go back to live with my mom for many reasons but mainly because I don't feel safe. The judge says I have to but also said I could have regular contact with my foster parent. My social worker says I can only see my foster parent 6 times per year. I need to see her more. do I have any rights.
