I AM ::::::::::::::::

half Venezuelan half Romainian: I was raised in Jersey Ciy, NJ and i spent two years living in Venezuela. Hence i know two languages : English and Spanish, I came to Miami from Venezuela when i was 14. I have lived here for 9 years now. My childhood and young adulthood was very chaotic until i entered foster care at 16 with my siblings. I have two younger siblings ( I am the oldest)

As a person I am very energetic, outspoken and a deep thinker. I am also very honest and spontaneous and random. I tend to put people first. Currently, I am learning to put myself first. I reflect on my inner thoughts and workings, i have no problem in talking to others.

I like being outside, its refreshing to me, I usually am always doing something-- or overextending myself.. just because .. If i am still then i am tired or just need to relax. I really enjoy traveling, listening to music,savoring a different food, making collages and watching films most often in the comfort of my own home.

I also like to invest time into my relationship as well as my friends and family, i always own bikes, and have used alot of public transportation. I got my first hand-me down car a couple of months ago. its a beauty and it matches my style.. (1996 325i Black BMW) I keep it really shiny and the interior really clean.. It has no tints.. It's transparent like me and its classic.. something you don't see in Miami very often.

I am currently involved with several different programs in Miami and statewide: (Lawyers for Children America, the Miami Chapter of Florida Youth SHINE, Educate Tommorow, Florida Youth SHINE ) In 2007, I won an internship with the Congressional Coalition of Adoption Institute and had the opportunity to serve my state representative and Congresswoman Ileana Ros- Lehtinen on Capitol Hill as an intern.

I have also worked with the American Bar Association, Foster Care Alumni of America and Florida's newly established Children's Cabinet by providing my perspective about the foster care system to leading shild welfare professionals
