I love Starbucks, I have a dog named Ruby, I had a successful foster care experience, I love technology, I cannot listen to a song all the way through, I should be diagnosed with ADHD, and I have never been out of the country.
- How do you participate in Volunteerism?
I participate in volunteerism by being an active member of my states youth board in the hopes to better the foster care system in Colorado. I also work as a 2009 Jim Casey Youth Intern.
- What is your favorite book?
I just recently finished the third of the Dave Pelzer series, I LOVE HIS BOOKS! I also enjoy any book that deals with cycling or tennis and I will soon embark on the journey of completing all the Harry Potter books.
- What is your favorite band or musician?
I especially enjoy Good Charlotte, All-American Rejects, Rascal Flatts, Kevin Rudolf, and any music in general except classical, hard rock, or christian.

The coolest thing I have going on for me right now is the internship I am involved in. I am a 2009 FosterClub All-Star and its a once in a lifetime opportunity that will open your eyes to things you would have never otherwise seen. It has created so many opportunities and relationships that I would never ever be able to truly pay them back for. Yes Happy Birthday. I grew up in the system and was in a lot of different foster homes. my relationships wern't as posative as yours were. I think alot of it has to do with the parenting skills of our foster Parents and weather they treated us good or bad. I am very happy you Have turned out so posative and that you are going for your goals like you have. I wish you all the success in life.

You can mail them- we are more for older aged youth in care. When would you have them mailed? That would depend on where you would send them.

Of course we can use them! They would go great with our back-to-school gift bags. I don't know how we will get the books here though. Mail maybe? Or maybe Stacie can handle them??

Well, that depends. I know of millions! Are you secluded to the coast? We are actually holding a back-to-school drive- I don't remember if we talked about it in Portland at that meeting or not. If you want to stay on the coast, the police department and local DHS branch are your most reliable options.
P.S. One day I hope to finish Harry Potter, as well. I made a deal with my friend that I wouldn't watch the movies until I'm done with the books. So I am about to start the Half Blood Prince because I really want to watch it!
