I am a college student at Herkimer County Community College, I been in foster care twice in my life once i was born until i was 3 i got adopted and then when i was 11 years old. I am currently a 2009 All Star representing New York State.

I am getting my higher education in human services and i am working my way up to be a Social Worker. And over the year I want to start a book about my experience in the foster care system.
wishing you all the best as you move on in life. Being an adult is not easy. Feeling disconnected must make it so much harder. I have been a foster parent to three people. Each of them came into foster care differently and is at a different point in their life. The one thing I have learned, as a foster parent is - you must speak up for what you want and need. Don't let peole tell you they will get back to you and they don't. Pursue your dreams. Makea a success of yourself and you will find happiness. You will never forget where you came froma nd what you went through. There will be a sadness, but if you take these experiences and use them to make you strong, you will do whatever you want.
