It's All-Star Application season, which is a very fun yet challenging time of the year for FosterClub. Every year we are amazed by the incredibly smart, unique and interesting young leaders that apply to be FosterClub All-Stars and spend a huge amount of time learning about this applicants before deciding who will be a FosterClub All-Star.
As fall turns into winter, FosterClub is as busy as ever with our mission, which is to lead the efforts of young people in and from foster care to become connected, educated, inspired and represented so they can realize their personal potential and contribute to better outcomes for their peers.
It seems like only yesterday, that the 2009 FosterClub All-Stars arrived in Seaside for the first time. Smart, ambitious, and excited to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in foster care, they completed exceeded our sky high expectations.
The All-Stars have now left Seaside, but will continue to make their presence felt at Foster Care Conferences for years to come.
Wow, June was an eventful month @ FosterClub!
FosterClub's 2009 All-Stars arrived June 5th. Our new class of All-Stars are an especially diverse, thoughtful, and well spoken group of young leaders, all with personal experience in the foster care system. Check out the All-Star Club to learn about them.

Foster Care Month is right around the corner, less then two weeks away. We here at FosterClub have been gearing up and getting ready some projects that are going to ask everyone to get involved with the life of a youth in foster care. We have some very sweet projects, but I cannot give them away quite yet. Be prepared though!!
Happy Monday everyone--Gina here.
As we get closer to mid-April I wonder what else is on people's minds besides the fact it's tax time. People seem pretty focused on this subject right now...However, let's not forget it's only 2 weeks away from National Foster Care Month. We all need to do our part to raise awareness starting right now.
Talk it up. Send an email. Wear a NFCM shirt or pin.
Wow! What a difference a few days make! The weather here in Seaside is fabulous--warm, sunny and absolutely gorgeous! We deserve it after all the rain!

I said this directly as a response to a post on the message boards, but I thought I would reiterate it on my staff blog.
Well, living in the Pacific Northwest is always interesting...
I cannot believe how fast time flies by, I have been working at FosterClub for 4 wks. It still feels a bit surreal to me. Like I am going to leave and go back to my home in Tucson in a few days, I guess that is the missing home part, what a great blessing to miss those who I Love and who Love me back.
