So I just got back from the Native Teen Gathering that was housed at Linfield College this past weekend. Not being a Native myself ( have only about 1/32 of blood in me) I was very nervous going to the NTG, because I didn't know what I'd be able to bring to the table. How could I be a role model to 26 youth if I don't know their customs, traditions and beliefs?

I can not believe I'm an allstar. It's nothing what I thought it woud be ike...well maybe it is. There are young people here from all over the country. It's only been a week but i feel like I have learned so much already. I am so excite for what the next days or weeks will bring. I really want to talk to the youth we will have a chance to meet.
