On December 17th, 2009, Senators Chuck Grassley from Iowa and Mary Landrieu from Louisiana announced they will be forming a Senate Caucus on Foster Youth.

It's exciting news, particularly because the Caucus is in response to a direct request from the young people of FosterClub. Senators Grassley and Landrieu have been leaders in improving policies for young people in foster care, and both played a major role in the Fostering Connections to Success and Increased Adoptions Act of 2008.

How can you get involved?
Send a letter to your Senators asking them to join the Senate Caucus on Foster Youth! Use the links at right to write to Senators, and be sure to tell them why it's important
