About this resource

California Youth Connection (CYC) is a youth led organization that develops leaders who empower each other and their communities to transform the foster care system through legislative, policy, and practice change. With the support of volunteers, chapters focus on leadership development, local community education, and policy implementation. CYC maintains chapters throughout the state of California.

CYC's core activities include:

Training & sharing of best practices
Youth Development & leadership
Outreach & Community education
